      Attorney Clark A. Walker

C lark Walker has been licensed to practice law since 1990 and focuses in the areas of Divorce and Family Law, Post Decree, Bankruptcy, Personal Injury, Criminal Defense including Felony, Misdemeanors, Traffic, Driving Under the Influence, and Juvenile Defense. Clark received his Jurist Doctorate in 1990 from Southern Illinois University School of Law, Carbondale, Illinois and his under- graduate degree in political science from the University of Maryland in 1985. Clark is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois, State of Missouri, and the United States District Court, Central District of Illinois. In line with his commitment for the best interest of children, he became a Certified Child’s Representative and continues to be appointed by the courts to represent children in custodial and visitation disputes..

B etween 1988 and 1990, initially practicing with a with a Supreme Court Rule 711 License, Clark gained experience through his association with a firm in southern Illinois. After which he accepted a position as an associate of a locally established law firm and relocated to Bloomington. In February 1995, Clark launched a solo practice, forming the Law Office of Clark A. Walker, P.C. with locations initially in both Bloomington and Pontiac, Illinois. Over the years he has developed a reputation of being a plain spoken-straight forward attorney who tells his clients exactly where they stand and what to expect while representing them passionately. C lark has taken pride in his community involvement which includes giving “Lawyer in the Classroom” presentations to junior high and high school students throughout the area and a radio program segment “Ask the Lawyer” as part of the yearly Law Day activities. Clark also acts as a liaison between the McLean County Bar Association and Chiddix Junior High School in Normal. Clark is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, McLean County Bar Association, the McLean County Family Bar Section, American Inns of Court, Robert C. Underwood Chapter and various other legal associations and affiliations. Clark and his family have lived in Bloomington since 1991.
